1. Who I am

My name is David Pullara, and I run Ward4WithPullara.ca.

The purpose of this site is to share information about my campaign for Ward 4 Councillor in the Bradford West Gwillimbury Municipal Election, and to give residents a way to connect with me, request a lawn sign, and stay informed about the campaign.

2. My commitment to your privacy

I respect your privacy and do my best to handle your personal information in line with Canadian privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), where it applies.

I aim to collect only what I need, keep it as secure as is reasonably possible for an individual, and use it only for the purposes described in this policy.

3. What information I collect

Through the forms and features on this site, I may collect:

• Your name, street address, postal code, phone number, and email address, if you request a lawn sign.
• Your name, email address, and any message you choose to send, if you use the contact form.
• Your email address, if you sign up for the Team Pullara newsletter.
• Your phone number, if you ask to be added to the Ward 4 WhatsApp group.

Standard internet tools used by the site may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and basic visit details for security and analytics purposes. This site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with it.

4. Why I collect your information

I may use the information you provide to:

• Fulfill your lawn sign request and coordinate delivery.
• Respond to your questions or messages.
• Send you campaign updates and news, if you have asked me to keep you informed.
• Add you to the Ward 4 WhatsApp group, if you have requested this.
• Keep records necessary to comply with Ontario municipal election finance and campaign rules.

I will not use your personal information for unrelated commercial purposes, and I will not add you to any list without your consent.

5. Consent

By submitting a form or otherwise providing personal information through Ward4WithPullara.ca, you consent to my collecting, using, and storing that information as described in this policy.

You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting me and asking me to stop using your information and to delete it, subject to any legal requirement that allows or requires me to keep certain records.

6. How I store and protect your information

I store your information on my personal computer and other personal devices that I control, and in commercial cloud services that I use to run my tools, such as survey, storage, or email services.

I take reasonable steps that are practical for an individual to protect your personal information, such as using passwords, access controls, and reputable services.

However, I am not responsible for any security incident that occurs within those commercial cloud services themselves, because they are operated by third-party companies outside of my direct control.

7. How long I keep your information

I may keep your information until you ask me to delete it, unless I am required or permitted by law to keep it longer.

If you ask me to delete your information, I will do so within a reasonable time, except where I am required or permitted by law to keep it.

8. How I share information

I will never sell your personal information to anyone.

I will not share your personal contact details, such as your name, email address, or phone number, with other candidates, political parties, third-party advertisers, or commercial organizations.

I may share aggregated or summarized survey results that do not identify you personally, including with current members of Council or other people involved in local decision-making, to help them understand what residents are saying.

I may also disclose personal information if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or legal process.

9. Your choices and rights

You can ask whether I hold personal information about you, ask for access to it, ask me to correct it, withdraw your consent, or ask me to delete it, subject to legal limits.

10. Cookies and website tools

Ward4WithPullara.ca uses cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics, to keep the site working properly and to understand how often the site is visited and which pages are most useful.

11. Links and embedded services

This site uses Google Analytics and links to other websites, including PullaraListens.ca. The lawn sign request form submits responses to Google Forms.

Those services are operated by third parties with their own privacy policies, and I am not responsible for their privacy practices. You should review their policies when you use those services.

12. Changes to this policy

I may update this privacy policy from time to time if my practices or the law change. When I do, I will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
